We are in the heart of the Austrian Alps, in a small town called Kirchberg, just down the road from the famous Kitzbuhel.

We think its best to fly into Salzburg with Ryanair (Stansted) or BA (Gatwick), this is only 50 min away from the Chalet.

Chances are that Munich has the best priced flights and more options, try Easyjet (Stansted), Airlingius (Gatwick), British Midlands (Heathrow) or BA (Heathrow), its 1.25 hrs to the chalet as the airport is on the north side of Munich 40km out of the city.

Note - Some people have been flying in and out of Munich west, which is Ryanairs airport choice for Munich. Its not in Munich, its 1hr away BUT they have a shuttle that goes from the airport to the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof), where we can pick people up or drop them off. Prices have been much cheaper for people this way, check it out !

The Chalet is walking distance to the swimming lake (could be too cold in Sept / Oct), supermarket, bus stop and railway station. It even has a lift across the road, to go up the mountain and have lunch with a great view over the Alps, lift ticket is € 7.
